The Group of Schools of Águas Santas,located in the suburbs of Porto, plays a pivotal role in the SUSTAIN-EDU project.It

operates in an area marked by sociological diversity and varying levels of education and training. Its main activities

encompass:

Vocational Education:The school group is involved in vocational education and training, making it a crucial partner for the

SUSTAIN-EDU project,which aims to empower young people in vocational education.

Educational Modernization:The institution has a history of modernization,including the construction of new

buildings,gymnasiums,and outdoor spaces.This experience aligns with the project's objectives of modernizing vocational

education systems.

Quality Education:With a dedicated team of over 220 educators,including specialists in Special Needs Education,the group

prioritizes providing quality education to students.

Participation in Erasmus+ Projects:The school group has a track record of participating in Erasmus+ projects

EURO-NET is a non-profit association with extensive experience and a diverse range of activities that make it an ideal

partner for the SUSTAIN-EDU project, aligning with the project's objectives and needs.EURO-NET's extensive experience,

international networks, focus on innovation, and commitment to youth engagement make it a highly suitable partner for the

SUSTAIN-EDU project. Their activities align with the project's objectives of empowering young people, introducing

sustainability into vocational education, and fostering innovation and attractiveness within VET systems.

Partnership and International Networks: EURO-NET is a member or associated member of 59 international networks,

including EU networks like EUROPE DIRECT and EURODESK. This networked approach aligns with SUSTAIN-EDU's aim

to foster collaboration among vocational education institutions, young people, and organizations working toward

sustainability.

Intercontinental Development Center is a nonprofit that aims to promote international intercultural and youth exchanges.

Intercontinental Development Center (IDC) was founded in 2023 in Masstricht, Netherlands. IDC is a non-for-profit

association that is a member or associated member of 30 international networks. By fostering critical competencies in the

area of intercultural understanding through youth exchanges and political education, our objective is to advance human

understanding and peace. Additionally, we want to encourage young people along with adults to become aware of cultural

diversity and appreciate those from other cultures, faiths, and ethnic origins. Our mission is to promote the value of cultural

diversity, active citizenship, and engagement of everyone, especially those with fewer opportunities
